S&W Revo Shop Manual, (Kuhnhausens), and why S&W owners need one

I carried one on the job, shot thousands of rounds through them, owned several in various calibers, etc.
I learned more about how they work, and to care for these guns, in two days of reading this book than I have picked up over the last thirty-three years since I fired my first round through a K-38.
It is worth every penny, even if you never do anything more than take the grips off to wipe one down (and it will save you messing them up, too).

All of the Kuhnhausen Shop Manuals are published by:
Heritage-VSP Gun Books
Box 887
McCall, ID 83638
I think they have a web site but I don't know what it is. They regularly advertise in the "Shotgun News."

Excellent books and probably a tad too much info for many gunowners (we're talking about $ on tools).

I've found them offered at gunshows quite often. That's where I got mine.

And, owning it won't make you a gunsmith, but it will enable you to talk intelligently about your gun with one.:scrutiny: ;)
I got mine from Brownells, in about four days. Heres the link:
Brownells (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/Home/default.aspx)
The shipping is $7.50, so I'd buy other stuff that I needed at the same time. There are Kuhnhausen manuals for other handguns, also.

Brought my first wheelgun 3 years ago, an S&W 28-2, and figured the Kuhnhasen might be handy. I learned more about it in one weekend than I knew about my 1911A1 in 35 years of owning one and reading gunrags about it, and the magazines of the `60s were a lot better than todays pulp. I got Kuhnhasen's 1st 1911 book in the next order to Brownells and it didn't disappoint either.
