I've seen the brown ones like this

And I've seen the newer colored green ones, but I've never seen this color used before on a Redding scale. Is it legit?

If I`m not mistaken that scale was manufactured by another company for Redding ,hence the "Redding" not cast into the body.

I wanna say the color looks as the ole Pacific color .

Scales are specialty items, few (if any) reloading tool companies make their own. Any maker ordering a batch of contracted scales from any scale maker can get their own name cast in the mold and then painted as the buyer wishes so that tells us nothing. Ditto press bodies and, often, dies, tumblers, ect.

I have a couple old Texan shot shell presses that are that exact color and willing to bet it is an Ohaus made scale.
