i'm sure some of you have seen the latest catalogue from cdnn, and in this catalogue, they advertise a 4" half lug stainless DAO bobbed hammer GP100 for about $230. i would gladly buy one, but they are in used condition, and i was wondering if anyone has bought one, and if so, what was the general condition of the piece? thanks.

I have not bought one so I don't have much to add, but I wanted to tell you that it's pretty hard to hurt a GP100. (especially a stainless one) Also, stainless Rugers clean up pretty easy and usually look really nice!

Even if it was some kind of pre-owned Army issue... You can't hurt a Ruger. CDNN is a thumbs-up org. They will describe item accurately if u give them a ring.

I bought one and it is a very good buy. These are ex Canadian Mounty guns. The trigger is very smooth, the action is tight as a drum. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of a real rear sight. They just have a groove on top. At 15 yards they will hold a very tight group. It has become my truck gun, and doesn't get always get treated well, but the gun is built like a tank.
