That's good to know - thanks.

I've used a BUNCH of Dardas bullets over the years with zero issues.

Figures, as I just got my bullets! :D Will keep in mind for future orders and thanks for the THR promo Matt.

I recently ordered an assortment of Dardas cast bullets (http://www.dardascastbullets.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=dardas&Category_Code=OURBULLETS) to try and the bullets arrived well packaged and looking very well. These were taken straight from the boxes at random and I did not wipe any of them down. Look forward to range testing them.

Just look at the long bearing surface length on the 9mm SWC bullet compared to the RN bullet! The SWC is flat base instead of bevel base and looks very promising for generating consistent chamber pressures/accurate shot groups - these reasons were why I wanted to try the SWC bullet.

9mm 125 gr RN, 9mm 126 gr SWC (http://www.dardascastbullets.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=dardas&Product_Code=91261000&Category_Code=9), 40S&W 180 gr TCFP, 45ACP 200 gr SWC

bds - do you plan on inserting the 126 grain SWC to the "normal" seating depth (ie. leaving a thumbnail thickness of the body exposed at the top of the case)? Testing program ETA? After all, have to follow up your excellent testing of the various Berry's hollow base bullets from last year.

Matt - do you have any different COL related suggestion for this bullet?

john, yes just like how I load MBC SWC bullet.

Actually I am currently doing some initial load testing of various 18 BHN and lower(softer) bullets in 9mm/40S&W/45ACP and I'll do another thread like the one I did for Berry's hollow base bullets. I will post the OALs of the various bullets that worked for my pistols to include Lone Wolf and KKM barrels.

I am planning to continue the load testing of 124 and 115 gr HBRN also and this time using red dot sights and pistol scope at 15-25 yards.

The best answer that I always offer for determining the 'magic' OAL is to experiment with your firearm. The answer lies within it. Start with the magazine clearance. Then proceed to the chamber. Then proceed to the target. There are lots of hurdles to clear to reach the 'magic' combination.

Have 1K on order, so we'll see what the SR9 and the CZ75 like. I anticipate the CZ may require a shorter COL based on past experience.

Never heard of these till today. Love the idea of being able to order them oversized. Limited selection of 40/10mm though.
Looking at the website this morning and am reading something about flaring the case I never knew about. I have been shooting lead for over five years now, never heard of a special sizer/flare/bell for lead only!
I was about to order some .357 135gr 38super rounds to try out in my 9mm M&P just to see if they would improve my accuracy, its either the gun or the bullets. Also going to slug the barrels of all my guns, some of my loads shoot great in some but not others.

Well I ordered 1k of the 126 swc and 1k or the 147gr 9mms. All of them 1/1000 oversized. Going to order the lyman sizer/plunger too. You should sell them when you think about it. Be ready for some questions. I've never been able to do much better than 2 1/2 inches at 30' with my cast 9mm loads, yet I can do 1 1/2 everytime with my 1911 or g22. At 25yards the 9mm really open up. I'm hoping this will cure it.
