Today, I had a chance to visit an Oakley store in a mall.
They had their Oakley SI Assault Boot on display along with 2 brass shell casings (I think they were .223) -- in the store's front window no less!
In this "gun PC" world in which we live, I was very happy to see a company not afraid to associate their product with firearms!
:D  :D
In my opinion, Oakley rocks !!!

Why not offer to trade them a bucket-full of spent brass for a pair of their boots? :D

Don't forget the atomic bomb stuff and skulls on their shirts.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Did you buy that camo shirt?

Skunk -- I wanted to see that camo shirt in person -- but is was "not in stock" !!!
But I do have a new Oakley item on my wish list -- the Oakley D1 watch -- in tactical black, of course!
:p :neener: :p

LOL. I'll try my local O store.
Their watches are cool but I think if I were seen with the watch, boots, glasses AND the camo shirt I'd feel like a total dork :o
(as opposed to my current status of mostly dork)

Good point, Skunk.
This is my personal Oakley theory:
"It's not the Oakley that makes the man, but the man that makes the Oakley."
;) :neener: ;)

I wear the Oakley boots on duty. Great boots, but they sure do squeak when the soles get wet. I paid retail for mine, but have since found a gov't price that I'll be paying for future pairs......

David, I think I found your boots.
I was at the O Store yesterday and saw a pair of urban camo SI Ninja Boots, complete with the red Poser Triangle!!!
I also saw the shirt, but it also had the poser triangle :(

Urban Camo SI Boots ?

Sounds interesting -- except for that corny (in my opinion) "red/silver triangle" logo.
I still can't understand why the otherwise "uber tactical" Oakley would put that weird "elite special forces red triangle" on their stuff !
I'm VERY happy I was able to locate an ALL BLACK pair of the Oakley S.I. Boots -- with NO "red/silver triangle" !!!
Any photos, Skunk, of the Urban Camo model ?

Skunk -- thanks for that great photo!
Those Oakleys are TOTALLY AWESOOOOOOOOOOME (as long as they come WITHOUT their red/silver elite special forces triangle logo).
:what: :D :what:

I knew you'd like it
I think it does have the poser triangle. So did that cool camo shirt :(

The all black D1 is awsome, looks really good, however sometimes it can be hard to read at certain angles. I have a pair of the black box crater sandals that are very nice.

I think they really need to make their chronograph with carbon fiber. That watch is pretty sweet.
Not to mention the Half Jacket with the CF finish... :banghead: (black=booooring...)

I am also thinking about getting the Oakley D1 watch (black dial with black strap) -- thanks for your comments!

You're gonna look like a total dork all Oakley'd out...I'd be too embarassed to be seen at the same mall as that O-Store. People would think you work there... :neener:
Now how sweet would this be with a CF dial and Titanium bracelet and bezel?
