What's the best price you can get 123 cells for? I'm looking for a light but have been considering a AA light because of the high cost of 123 cells and the whole non-rechargeable issue.
I might reconsider if I could find good prices on the batteries.

This is where I get mine. I am sure there are other places cheaper, I have heard that there are cheaper prices in E-Bay. Personally, I couldn't be bothered.

Yeah, buy a box of 12 from Surefire ($12?), and if you are like me, it will last about 8-10 yrs before I have to buy again.
Or get a UK:

that is almost as good as a surefire, for $16!! Uses 4 AA.

I have at least a half dozen Surefire flashlights. I have one with me at all times. I carry two at work. I have two Surefire weaponslights.
About two years ago I spent $25 on two dozen batteries from Surefire and still have some left. What is that ? A dollar a month ?

Bix,
Do you order from Botach regularly? I've heard many complaints about service and lack of stock more than once from this board and on other message boards.

Brad,
Doing business with Botach is a bit of an art. I tolerate it because their prices, in many cases, are hard to beat.
You probably won't have an issue ordering batteries from Botach because: (i) they are in stock (I just had box shipped on Friday), and (ii) you will not likely need to return them. These are the two areas where I've had problems with the company. I have, however, had numerous successful transactions with Botach by simply calling and being proactive about my order.
YMMV, caveat emptor, etc.

How much does Surefire charge for shipping? I don't want to register with them only to find out they charge an astronomical amount for shipping.

Free shipping for orders over $100, I think it's normal UPS prices for less.

yeah, those surefire cells look like the best deal. I agree that I'd like to know what their shipping is though.
I went ahead and bought an Inova X5 and I may pick up a P6 as well. Looks like you can get one for $45.
