Is there a more common than not reason for the bolt on an "A10" style rifle, to not chamber the next round? 20 round P MAGs.

Like a .308 AR-10 you mean?

1. Bad magazines.
2. Badly carboned up bolt & carrier.
3. Missing all three gas rings off of the bolt.
4. Lack of proper cleaning & lube.
5. Gas key screws loose on bolt carrier.
6. Bent gas tube.
7. Carbon or lacquer fouled chamber.
8. Sub-par ammo or reloads.

Thats enough to get you started looking in all the right places.
