Looking for a range near Denver,Co.

I am in the process of moving to Denver,and need a good range.Prefer a private club with at least a 300 yard rifle range.Buffalo Creek out by Bailey looks like a pretty good setup;anyone else have any ideas?

I'm a member of BCGC. Great range.

Been about 6 years since I was there and options are very limited.

Before moving into Denver proper, check to see whether there is still a magazine capacity ban. There was when I left in '06.

As far as metro area gun clubs, Aurora gun club is outstanding and has a rifle range. But it's indoors; with good ventilation.

90 min north is Pawnee, an open range area east of Ft. Collins.

Outside of that, there's a few handgun ranges like the Firing Line, but they are lower class (a few NDs and suicides have occured there I think).

I go to the Family Shooting Center (http://www.familyshootingcenter.com) in Cherry Creek State Park, and Lead Valley Range (http://leadvalleyrange.com) out in Byers. There's also Centennial Gun Store (http://centennialgunclub.com/shooting-range/) which has an indoor range, but I haven't used them yet.

This is a private club with target positions at 50 feet, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 yards.

They do have a membership limit which has been reached. However, I would apply for membership and see if there are any openings in February when all of the renewals of members have been processed.

It is an indoor range catering to pistol and small bore rifle shooters. Their distances are 50feet and 25yards. They do also have a 100 yard underground tube for rifles fired from either of two bench positions.
