You can expect...

100% Reliability

100% Durability

Good accuracy

An okay trigger

Good choice!

I agree. I have the USP-45 full size and it's my favorite handgun. Reliable, plenty accurate and tough as a Russian tank. No other handgun offers a larger trigger guard for easy access while wearing heavy gloves (especially when carried cocked and locked) in the winter. I do have to admit that while I can live with the trigger, I've had better although nothing approaches the CZ-75 for an excellent DA trigger. Not sure about teh .45 GAP round though but the weapon itself is great. :)

What can you expect? How does 100% fun sound?

The .45 USP is my second favorite all time handgun, next to the S&W 586 .357 Mag. But it's a close second.

Depending on your method of carry and body type, if you wear an untucked shirt you may chaffe your back on the aggressive grip texture when driving.

AFAIK, the only way to go for those who want an ubertactical polymer cocked & locked carry pistol.

Mine has been 100% reliable and very accurate out to the limit of the sights.
As I type, it is keeping me company.
This gun will remain in my posession until I die, if I have anything at all to say about it.
This will be the last auto I would sell, if I had to feed my family and had no choice.
Excellent choice.
The only downside of owning a H&K is now you will have all manners of the great unwashed calling you a gun snob.

Then I guess I've made the early decision to be a gun snob. There is no other maker of firearms that I lust over more than HK. Both of my USP's have been near flawless. The exception being a few operator induced errors with my neutered 10 round mags. I fully intend to continue buying HK products and for the forseeable future that's all that's on my list. FP6, P7M8, SL8-1, P2KSK, etc. If HK made a sub-compact single stack 9mm, I wouldn't own my Kahr.

I agree, you made an excellent choice.

Put a Hogue wrap on it if the grip checkering bothers you, or just let the calluses build up.:D
