Kerry was interviewed this morning by Katie Couric (CBS morning show? not sure) but he said how he's all about hunting and sportsmen and believes in 2A rights but he will extend the AWB while Bush will not. Hasn't Bush said he will also extend it? He went on to explain that he wants to close the gun show "loophole" so that terrorists (he actually used that word) can't bring guns across state lines. They all like to talk about closing the loophole but I still have yet to hear an explanation of what this supposed loophole actually is. He was then asked why he supports banning gay marriage and beat about the bush getting to the answer. I don't like this guy.

He doesn't think, he *knows* we're dumb. And he's right.

Oh sure, *you and I* are not dumb, but he knows he can't get our vote no matter what he does or says at this point. He's going after the typical left-leaning would-be voter who doesn't think a lot about difficult things, believes what he reads in the papers, and generally does what he's told and thinks others should, too. In short, the dumb people. There are plenty of them out there, and if he can get them to vote at all, he can get them to vote for him.
