SIG P228 Special Configuration, carbon steel slide on a stainless steel frame. As SIG aficionados know, normal P228 is carbon steel slide on a lightweight alloy frame. As of right now, less than 100 were made of this Special Configuration.

I own a Marlin 336 LTS made in 1988-89. Not sure of exact numbers made, but it is around 2000. Basically a 16" 336 with a straight grip

I also own a 336SS-LTD. It is basically am 18.5" SS guide gun, but chambered in 35 Rem. Only 500 were made in 2005. I don't have a photo of either of my guns, found these online.

forindooruseonly- What is that? A 2 shot revolver?

It's a Colt Camp Perry, a single shot target .22 built on a revolver frame which was produced from 1926 till 1941.

I assume the revolver pictured by ForIndoorUseOnly is a Colt Camp Perry. It's a single shot "revolver". (Oops didn't see that FIUO replied a few minutes earlier.) They are rare guns and very rare in great condition.

M1911A1 made by Singer Sewing Machine Co. in WWII. I believe they only did a single run of 500, and didn't get the contract because they couldn't make them fast enough? Or something like that. And NO, this is NOT mine!!! I freakin' wish.....they're worth a bloody fortune.

I think more interesting (and valuable) are guns of which a lot were originally made (thus earning them a place in the history books) but of which the surviving numbers are small. Examples are the Pedersen Device (of which practically all were destroyed after WWI), and the original M1894 Krag (of which practically all were updated to the M1896 model). Also, rod-bayonet Springfields and gas-trap Garands.

No, it's a reproduction (of which there are only about as many as there are originals). The video I took that still from (which I did in cooperation with Oleg Volk) is finally done, and will be posted on YouTube and my blog on Monday.

They made a little over 400 of my model. I saw an add in one of the gun rags before they were in production and had my LGS (sadly the shop and smith are now deceased) get me on the "list".

Oh, and I shoot the heck out of it.

I was going to say, the workmanship and finish on that stock is way too nice for a late-war prototype. I can't wait for Monday's post.
