Scope rings for JC Higgins 30

I recently bought a JC Higgins Model 30 and would like to put a scope on it. The grooved receiver's dovetail is .350" wide and 3/8" bases will not fit. I tried a buddy's Weaver tipoff and it fits but was offset about 1/16" and it has a tiny objective. I would like a set of rings for 1" rings or a set of 3/4" see through bases so I can use it for spotlighting. What are my options?

Leupold makes a set of .22 rings for a 1 inch scope that works on these rifles. I don't remember the model number but it is the rings that are split vertically instead of horizontaly. Here is a thread about it http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273149

You could also try to find the original mount for it. Built in 3/4 rings.
