When you sand a wooden stock what types of paper do you use through the process, and what grits do you use?
Thanks

I use 3M aluminum-oxide #150 Fine for rough sanding and finish removal.
Followed by 3M red-garnet open-coat 220 for finish sanding.
Followed by wetting the grain, heat gun or torch drying it, then using 0000 Super-Fine steel wool for whisker removal.
It doesn't matter so much what you use, as long as you use it right.
Block sand whenever possible to avoid ripples and dishing out soft wood grain between the hard grain.
