Saw a very good condition CZ-2075 Rami in9mm for $479. Is this a reliable pistol at anwhere near a fair price? Thanks!

I can't offer an opinion on the price, but if you want a compact pistol with a DA/SA trigger and external hammer then this is one of very few choices. But stick with the metal frame version rather than the polymer framed version. From what I hear and read, the polymer versions have had issues with the frame speading.

I've been a big CZ fan for years, but never got enthused by the RAMI. It feels bigger in the hand than it's size would indicate, and bigger in the holster. I much prefer the Kahrs (PM-9, P9). I have a CM-9 and it's a true pocket gun, but should be used with a good pocket holster.

The RAMI is apparently a fine gun, and once some early "teething" problems (years ago) were resolved, they've been good performers. That said, the CZ P-01 is roughly 3 ozs heavier, only an 1/8" wider, and not quite 3/4" longer -- yet the barrel is more than 3/4" longer. The P-01 holds 14 rounds, while the RAMI holds 9 (in 9mm). Capacity is a factor, and 9 is a big jump over the P9 or PM9 (6 or 7 rounds).

The only person who can answer your question is YOU. You need to handle one and decide if the size trade-off is justified, and how important a couple of extra rounds might be to you. And think about holsters.

At this point, taking comments from my two reliable gun forums, it is not looking good for the Rami. Thanks all.

9mm RAMIs run better than the .40s.

I now carry a lighter CZ-USA tuned RAMI P without any frame bulge that I can see.

I have the rami in 9mm. It has been great for me. Never a problem of any kind. I shoot it quite a bit. Totally reliable and comfortable.

The CZ RAMI P is the only CZ I ever had trouble with. Many failure to feed problems. It went back to CZ a couple of times and ended up as a safe queen after the 2nd trip home. You may have better luck than I did. 9mm btw.

My opinion is if it is all metal with a decocker it is a great gun and a good price. If it is all metal without a decocker it is a good gun at an average price. I would personally stay away from a poly one. Love, love, love my Rami, the only thing I regret is getting the non decocker one
