Hey guys,

I know that I can just use google to find a list of gunsmiths, but I also know that just because someone opens up a store and has a license to work on firearms doesn't necessarily mean he's going to perform reliable service.

I'm going to be wanting to get a new trigger and thumb safety fitted onto a used 1911 soon, possibly new sights as well. I live near Milwaukee, WI (Port Washington technically - about 30 minutes north) and I'm looking for a recommendation for a gunsmith that actually does good work. I don't mind driving out to Sheboygan, Germantown, Brookfield, etc. if it means not having to worry about my hammer dropping after returning to battery or worse, a thumb safety not engaging 100% of the time.
