I recently went to check out what was advertised as 03A3 parts, but discovered they were something else entirely. The box was filled with 1911 parts wrapped in cosmoline paper, mostly Ithaca arms. There were enough parts for two complete guns w/o frame and slides. Apparently the gentlemans brother was an armorer or in ordinance. So is there any value to the parts, as this is not really my area of expertise?

I guess no one knows much about this stuff on here. Is there a better forum for my question?

Sometimes it takes our more seasoned folk a day or two to check the forums, meatworld demands being what they can be. If this thread provides no joy within the next day or two, then I'd recommend PMing a mod to move this thread into the Gunsmithing forum.
