First one looks like a front sight staking jig. Maybe for a 1911.
No idea on the second.

How well does a 1911 slide fit into number 1?

#2 looks like an adjustable spanner of some sort. Maybe for firing pin bushings on a shotgun. Is there a name stamped on it anywhere?

My thought was the screw would hold the front sight tight to the slide while you peen it with a punch. There is a radius opposite the screw that would fit the bottom of the slide. But I'm just guessing.

The second photo the jig is stamped "MEMCK"

More likely "MENCK". It is an adjustable forend spanner wrench to fit the slotted forend nut on shotguns. Current retail price on a new one is $24.95.

I would have never guessed that. Thanks
