Firing pin protection?

hello,
I have a tec-9, i really like it, it works well even though it shouldnt. However, it has a broken firing pin right now, and i was wondering what would be the best way to protect another pin, seeing as how they dont make these guns anymore. I was thinking about just loading a snap cap as the first round in every mag, but that seems like a band-aid for a bigger problem. Is there any way i could machine out the bolt and put a spring on the firing pin so dry firing wouldnt kill it? is there some super strong alloy i could turn down into a firing pin that wouldnt break? any help is appreciated, thanks.
