Which choke should be used for slugs and buckshot and how do you tell one choke from the other?

IC is pretty much the standard. MOD might work well for you as we'll. try them both out with slugs and see what shoots best.

Usually there are hash marks on the end of the tube to tell you the choke.

Usually I/C for slugs, full for buck (hunting use). Each gun will be different, so take it out and try the loads you want to use in the different chokes and see what gives you the best results.
