I've had my 220 for a little over a month now with only the 2, 7 rounders it came with. I finally ordered some 8 rounders tonight. Check out CDNN or Cope's for good prices on Novak 8 Rounders. They are supposed to be great mags, suitable for carry/home defense. I'm going to run a few hundered rounds through mine before I trust them for serious social work though.

9 more crates of ammo? Seriously, you wont find too many widgets for SIGs because they do not need'em. Spare mags are always a good bet, perosnally i'd stick with factory mags for real use. Good leather should be all that is needed. If it has the plain ordinary SIG blueing you may want to do a pre-emptive refinish, as they have the corrosion reistance of something that doesnt have any corrosion resistance. I'll defer to others tp recommend a good coating.

Hogue grips w/ the finger grooves. Groovy. Only mod on my 220 ST.

It's a GREAT gun. I keep hearing how you have to drop $1,500 or more on a 1911 to get the same kind of performance the 220 ST offers. The more I shoot it, the more I'm inclined to agree.

(I have a bit over $1000 in my Springer Loaded w/ Bar-Sto barrel, but it's still at the shop, so....)

2. Lots of mags- I like the Act/Novak 8 rounders- they are excellent
3. If it is an 220ST, then it has a rail- therefore you could buy a Surefire X200 or Streamlight M3
4. Novaks - Bar-Dot Night Sights
5. Trigger Job by LTT- Ernest Langdon - possibly add a short trigger, if that is what you like

But really, all you need is 8-10. All I have done so far with my 220ST is #'s 2,3, and 8-10.
