Well at least who ever it belongs to is at least thinking positively by putting the flat deck on the back to haul their deer out on.

I also gotta say, I have been a LOT of places hunting, and this ain't even close to the worst I seen out there.....

Just sayin:D

I use a dirt bike, myself, but I'm going to get a Husky lawn/garden tractor next spring and REALLY want the one with the locking differential. :D I do see the possibilities.

Probably the same guy who let his horse out to walk around the deer woods.

the horse was from about two miles away and would have been faster than that old clunker.as the logging road up is in bad condition i was amazed to see a lawn tractor make it up. as least he took the mower deck off. eastbank.

A friend of mine had an ATV to get to his deer hunting spot on family owned land. The problem was, he had to go a ways down the gravel back road he lived on.

One day on his way there, a game warden stopped him and told him he would write him up if didn't push it off the road right there! ABSOLUTELY not allowed on a road! My friend got so mad, as he couldn't even drive it home, so once he got home he sold it!

By the next hunting season, he made this,

He geared it up, put an SMV sign on the back and never got bothered again! Cops and game wardens would just drive on by him!

I've always owned motorcycles and like dualsports. One lease I was on, guys would ride their ATVs out every morning in the ditch along the highway. One morning they were greeted by the po po with his ticket book. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/lachen/laughing-smiley-014.gif I just rode on by and waved on my street legal XL600R. That night in camp there was some beeochin' goin' on. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/lachen/laughing-smiley-014.gif

That XL would go places the ATVs dared not. BUT, I had to drag deer out to the road with it, no rack. I have a sheet of plastic for that. My KLR isn't as good in the muck, too heavy, but has a helluva rack on it.

Some of us old farts remember a time before the advent of ATVs, that stripped down lawn tractors were quite popular for those long treks to the back 40, pullin' trailers full of firewood, fixin' fence and bringin' out venison and stray calves. Course that was back in the day when the only pick-up trucks you saw on the road were owned by farmers on their way to the feed mill..........

I have a old JD 160 lawn tractor with a Kawasaki 16 HP motor that I use. Works just fine and pulls stuff easy!

What I had in mind when I get mine, use on my property for mowing and general duties like hauling hogs out of the woods on a trailer. :D

Yeah, and back then, a pick up cost less than a car.

Where are the racks for his gun and cargo (deer)? He needs to modify it a bit.

That would be WAY cool for the disabled hunter. Good to know someone's thinkin' about that the older I get. And, you never know when your luck will play out on the highway.

There's a big rack on the back, his holster for his revolver stayed on all the time, and the rifle case came off in the summer months.

He used it year around, but he has now passed away.... His son is still using it though.

'Round here they's recycled golf cars - lawns and hence lawn mowers being thin on the ground...

Since I am a tractor buff these r all transportation at a tractor show....and the wheel horse is cool but the flywheels off of a H is worth as much as the tractor.

Actually, that tractor has never seen a show and the flywheel is off a "B".
