Beretta 1201FP Shotgun

I wish I had found this forum many years ago. I wish my first post wasn't so academic.

I own the shotgun listed above, and would love to change the current buttstock to one with a pistol grip. If the manufacturer makes one, I can't find it. I have looked at U.S. Cav, Blackhawk, Eagle Industries and the like, with little luck. Does anyone know if such a replacement stock exists, and if so what a CA. resident has to do to legally get one?

Moving out of state is a very real option :D

The pre-ban configuration of the 1201FP features a Choate "full" pistol-grip stock. That is to say, pistol grip plus full shoulder stock. I don't know if Choate still makes them.
