Hey Hi roaders
Here's my story have an Enfield that was converted to a J/C by Santa Fe arms
And I really like it but cant hit an outhouse from the inside. I try'ed all kinds of irons with not much luck. I have a few scopes kicking around and just need a mount of some sort any ideas?

I started thread a couple weeks ago called "1926 ShtLE Lee Enfield" The pictures are not spectacular, but you might be able to see the weaver style "bridge" that holds the scope. It requires drilling three holes in the receiver, but it seems solid.
It can't be too hard. I suspect the owner previous to me did it himself. With the bridge installed, it is as simple as mounting any other scope.http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=175462&d=1354153564

S & K makes no drill rock solid mounts for the lee enfields. You may have a no. 4 or a no. 3. They use standard weaver rings. These are steel mounts.

Perhaps slug the barrel to make sure it isn't too worn out? I've never done that myself but I'd at least consider it before spending more money on scopes when you need bigger diameter bullets.

Otherwise here's a scout scope mount if you like that flavor:

I think I might have a B-Square mount that came off a Lee Enfield that attaches to part of the rear sight that requires no drilling.

Check evil bay for the S&K scope mount, you may save a few bucks. The No4 and No1 rifles uses different mounts.

The old Weaver steel tube K2.5 make the No4 look much like the No4(T) sniper rifle.
