Buffer Question

I am doing my first complete ar build. Everything has so far gone fine but I am lost when it comes to my stock situation. I purchased a new frontier complete lower from Joebobsoutfitters.com. They packaged a deal where it comes with a fixed a2stock.

I am building the rifle as a carbine and don't know what to do with the buffer, buffer spring, and buffer tube. My upper components are predominately dpms so Id like to stick with them for this.

Should I be using there carbine buffer? If I do, do I use their fixed stock mil spec tube? The final question after all this what spring do I use?

just leave the supplied A2 buffer in the A2 fixed stock and it should be fine

edit: UNLESS you are replacing with a carbine telescopic stock

If you are using the fixed stock rifle extension tube...then you need a rifle buffer and buffer spring

If you want a carbine stock, then you need a carbine extension tube and a carbine buffer and spring

the carbine tube inside the carbine stock is shorter so it uses a shorter buffer.
