LCR makes "clicking" sound

Has anyone heard of LCR's making a clicking noise when rotated left to right or front to back?

A friend has gotten a new LCR from Bass Pro and he noticed this clicking sound. He has held the cylinder and grip to make sure the cylinder is motionless and still gets the click.

Yep my lcr does the same thing its the transfer bar and deals with how it works its in the booklet they send with it.
