What to do with the accessories when selling a gun?

I have a shotgun that I may decide to sell in the semi-near-future, mainly because it doesn't really fit what I want anymore. The thing is I bought some accessories for it, most of which are specific to that model; others which I won't need on a different weapon. However, it is entirely possible that people wouldn't want or need these for their purposes if they bought this shotgun.

So my question is this: what is one to do with any spare accessories after selling a gun?

Put them up for sale in the trading section of this forum.

Sometimes I have sold guns locally on consignment. When I do that, I try to offer the gun and extras as a package deal. Other times it has been a better deal for me to sell accessories separately.

Well at least some of these components wouldn't be good without the gun, so I guess I'd include those.

Is the shotgun some rarity or is it more likely that other folks have the same model? Maybe even some folks on this forum would be in the market for your accessories.
You will rarely get anything close to purchase price for a used package deal. If you are selling it privately you could offer it with or without the extras.

You will likely make more money selling the shotgun and the other pieces individually rather than a bundeled set. Now that I'm married (and have a much more limited budget). I think it's time for me to go through my gun boxes and start selling stuff. I can likely buy one or two firearms with the stuff I have that I don't use or need. For example, I have three recoil reduction stocks for a mossberg 500 and I don't care for them.
