1979 vintage Type II Browning Citori, 20g/26" Superlight with IC/Mod fixed chokes. Bought the gun privately, was used primarily for pheasants by its original owner. The gun is in 85-90% condition. Really didn't need it, but got it for a great price. Hard to say no, at times... ;)

tarheel, I'm retired and work in collaboration with an FFL. We both buy, sell, shoot and collect. Not all the time, but good deals do float our way every now and then...

here's the absolute best deal I ever encountered. A beautiful 1977 vintage, 95% 12 gauge Remington 1100. The wood on this gun speaks for itself. Bought it for $198.90!!

With all due respect, I don't think your Citori is a "Superlight" model....since they weren't introduced until 1982. "Superlight's" also had high gloss finishes on the wood. More likely you have the "Sporter" model which came out in 1978 with oil finished wood and 26" barrels.

the Sporter was much heavier. The book is wrong. This gun is a Type II Superlight fixed choke gun weighing in at about 5 plus pounds. The wood is a different grade/density and the stock is hollowed.

I thought the same thing, until I contacted Browning...
