So I don't remember the thread exactly, and searching for it has proven frustrating at best. So here is my question
Can I take a surplus barrel chambered for 303 British and trim the chamber down to shoot 7.62x39?
the Bullet diameter on the barrel is correct but I think I would have to recut the chamber to fit the shoulder and extractor
I'm thinking it is more or less a moot point price wise to have this done compared to just getting a barrel in 7.62x39 for an Ishapore Enfield action.
Anybody out there with some insight would be appreciated.
