Between polymer, nylon, and leather holsters, which would you think would be the easiest on an engraved stainless cylinder with no precious metal inlay?

Soft unlined Nylon without a doubt.
Polymer/Kydex isn't even in the running.
But a gun like that Deserves a leather / pig-skin lined El Paso Saddlery BBQ rig.
Pig-skin is real easy on gun finish too if you keet dust & grit out of it.

I agree, I had already started leaning towards leather anyhow haha
I'll have the cylinder back on Saturday, can't wait to show it off.
I'm looking for an IWB that won't give me trouble with reholstering also...seems to be a tall order with the flat faces on the cylinder. Any tips?

Your better IWB holsters will have a stiffener or reinforcment at the mouth to keep it from closing up on you.
See the Summer Cruiser, C-Force, and Ultra-Cover here.
The EZ-Carry is not, and will squash flat on you when the gun is out.

Something like this El Paso pancake (#88?). Although I prefer pigskin to suede.
