650 Question

What exactly do I need for a "quick" changeover for a Dillon 650...I don't know anything about them, other than my Dad just bought one, and has the .45acp, and would like to get him a .44 mag setup. We both have plenty of RCBS dies, so I won't need a set of those, just everything else that make it so nice. Thanks y'all...- Joshua

you need a caliber conversion kit (comes with shellplate, locator pins, and a powder funnel) and a quick change kit (toolhead, powder die, powder measure, and a toolhead stand).
with those parts, you'll only have to change out the shellplate and locator pins, then slide the other toolhead out and the new one in.
idk what parts your press is coming with, so you may not need to order all that. i don't switch up very often and powder measures are expensive, so i just get a caliber conversion kit, toolhead, and powder die for each cartridge. i use a homemade toolhead stand made of wood.

sorry, i was thinking 550 (probably because that's what i have) and i forgot all about the casefeeder conversion parts in the caliber conversion kit. you'll need the kit billybob linked to and this for a true "quick change":

the casefeeder plate is the same for .45 ACP and .44 mag
