I see in a flier that P.S.E. has a crossbow that goes on an AR type lower. Does this mean you have to go thru a background check to get that crossbow or is the lower a different one then used for a gun?. It says "will fit on your lower" so i would assume it would fit any mill speck lower.

I belive that it is just an upper and you could fit it on any standard lower. I am sure that their site clarifies this in greater detail.

Yup. http://pse-archery.com/c/crossbows_tac-ordnance-crossbow

I wish someone would make a bolt-action .454 Casull AR upper.

Thanks for the link. And from what I gather you supply the lower. So there for would require paperwork. That was my main and only question. And ya those are expensive....wow
