My 2012 blue book says this is worth $535 in 100%, $425 at 98%, and $360 at 95%. Is this a good deal? I think the price may be a bit high but what the heck do I know?!? I know one thing, I'd like to add one like this to my collection!! :D

Thats about the going rate for a nice one with box & papers around here anymore.

MSRP on a new one from S&W is $729.00, and that old one is a better gun.

In my area they are going for between $300 and $500 with the higher price going more than the lower most times.

I bought an almost new Chief's Special a while back for $300 and at the time it was a very good buy since most were going for ~450 then.
