The thread was closed after about 4 posts. Diane Feinstein has said she will introduce a new weapons ban on the 1st day of the new session of Congress.

Obama has said he will do everything legally and politically possible to prevent more shootings.

Yet we cant discuss it here? I know a lot of people love Obama. But come on, if this is a pro-gun forum, we need to be able to discuss these things. Of course, I am probably going to be banned for this.... but come on moderators, there was no reason to suppress discussion.

IMO, it makes more sense to wait until we can review the text of Sen. Feinstein's bill in order to determine its meaning.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for a companion bill in the House.

As for whatever the president might do, all we can do is wait and see whatever definitive comments or actions occur.

Otherwise, it's mostly mouth-music, speculation and mental masturbation.

In the meantime, set up the format for your snail-mail letter to your own senators and your representative. Letters are far more effective than Internet posts.
