Just wanted to share some pics of a new style of holster that I will be offering. It was designed by a customer and it was my first ever full leather holster.

The belt clip is too low in this picture. It carries much better when the clip is attached to the retention screw that is a little higher.

My advice for the next one us to lose the clip and replace with a loop. Much more secure.

When Im selling these, loops will definitely be an option. The customer wanted a belt clip (easier on/off) so thats what she got. The entire holster is dipped in acrylic so the draw is smooth and the holster wont come out with the gun. I'll see if I can get her to post a review after its been tested.

Awesome! Have you thought about messing around with stitching, instead of screws/rivets?

Absolutely. I recently ordered everything I need to start stitching leather. She wanted something asap and asked me to "whip up" something with what I had. I plan on stitching future versions, offering belt loops, thumb strap retention, etc. This holster was an experiment of sorts and took about an hour to make.

Nice! If you can whip this out in an hour, I can't wait to see your future leather work.

I played around with a similar design about a year back with a fella that came to me with the same idea.....yours looks to be a bit top heavy and may want to lean and twist forward......it was happening with this smaller "air weight" until we moved the clip up as high as we could.
I agree with a comment made earlier about a leather loop instead of the clip.....I don't like what clips do to a belt.

I really like the offset belt loop.
