Is there any difference between the ones that come in the ammo cans and the ones that comes in the blister packs? What's the cheapest place to buy these?

I don't know is there's any difference in the ammo. I guess that it's just the way that it's packaged.

www.ammoman.com has 800 rounds in blister cases for $179 including shipping.

www.outdoormarksman.com has 800 rounds for $126 + $35.25 shipping for my zip = $161.25

Sportsmans Guide (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=119295) has 800 rounds for $135 + $20 S&H = $155

www.jgsales has 800 rounds for $136 plus ? S&H and 500 rounds Indian FMJs for $60. I saw 1,000 rounds for $100 in their newest catalog.

www.ammunitionstore.com has 800 rounds for $129 plus shipping.

Here's a auction:

Hope that this helps!

Pyblood,

Thanks for those links. I wasn't aware of the great differences in prices on the Aussie 7.62, and I was just about to order some. You saved me some research time, or maybe some cash.

I bought some from sportsmans guide. The stuff in the ammo cans I bought about a month ago was 1983, the stuff I picked up last week was blister packed and 1990.

either way my FAL likes it :D
