Im in the process of buying a CIA c-93, and was wondering if there is any problems with reloading the brass after firing, due to the H&K designed fluted chamber.
Anybody have any issues with this?

In several thousand rounds loaded (.308 Winchester) never had any problems. I do use a small-based die however, and tumble the brass before loading. IMO, there are more issues with primer pockets being crimped than striations on cases from fluted chambers.

It makes the reload look funny

Many years ago (damn, it's terrible to get old....) a bud of mine had a H&K 93. He didn't reload and gave me his old brass. Most was berdan primed but some wasn't. It loaded ok and shot ok, just looked funny.

That's for sure. Depending on the gun and caliber some just leave soot lines that don't easily clean off. They might clean off with the new stainless media, but my walnut shells don't seem to touch them. Others like the SVT40 leave grooves in the brass that are still there even after resizing.

10 or 15 years ago I could order from Shotgun News and get 1000 rounds for $100 of 7.62x51mm 1990's Venezuelan Boxer primed ammo in battle packs delivered to my door.

I traded a case to a gun store for something. The proprietor's son tried to shoot it in his HK. It did not work. The rumors were true. Cavim ammo has a varnish sealer that gums up fluted chambers.

I have used lots and lots of Cavim in a fluted chamber HK; no problems ever. Their brass is also great for reloading: heavy and doesn't stretch much.
