I'm picking up one of these from my LGS either tomorrow or Friday and will be breaking it in as my LGS is also a range... I bought Remington Golden Bullets from wally world as that was the only ammo on the "approved list" that I could find... I just noticed it was hollow point but i read that hollow points were no good in these kits... any advice? I'm also picking up a Mossberg 715 tactical .22 so the ammo won't go to waste but I really wanted to put some trigger time into something I carry whenever possible and is much cheaper to feed than .40 or 9mm... thanks, Johnny

I had one of those, I sold it with the gun a long time ago.
My experience with all conversion kits is that they need a lot of break-in, and they are a lot more forgiving. Like 500+ rounds. I had two magazines with it, one of them seemed to jam more until it was well-worn.

I got the Advantage Arms .22 kits for both my Glock 22 and my Glock 30. With ammo they like, they work flawlessly, and are very accurate with both of my guns. It's a lot cheaper to practice with .22LR than .40S&W or .45ACP, too.

5 AA Kits and they all work great with Rem. G.B. H.P. and Mini-Mags but not so well with anything else I have tried.

I got one for my Gen 4 Glock 34. It has been flawless with the 40 gr (non hp) Rem Golden bullets. FTE with American Eagle (Fedral)
I will be getting some 34 gr HP Golden bullets later. I have tried some and they work just fine. They recommend the GB bulk 525 pack, they only come in 34gr HP's.
I'm looking for get a new mag here soon. So far this hasn't required any break in time and has been a great kit. Make sure you oil it well. This is not a glock anymore, you need to oil it rather well.

I have the AA kit for my G19, and it functions well with the Golden Bullets. Like the other guy said, run it wet.
