It was a long road but I'm done! I did a video review on it as I thought it would be neat to show the silencer internals. Enjoy!

Very nice!!

I had the good fortune to live only minutes away from Mr. Dow's shop for several years. He does great work for fair prices.

Now, I'm in Dunedin, and it takes $100 worth of gas just to go spend an afternoon poking around his shop, lol.

Everyone needs one!

I just shot it wet today and giggled like a school girl. I own 11 silencers and the TiRant45 shot wet on the 1911 was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard...or not heard. The tone was deep and mellow and we shot it side by side with a .22 and 9mm and it sounded quieter than both to the human ear!

That's an excellent video. I've been thinking about an AAC suppressor for my SIG P220 Combat but wasn't intending to use it on my 1911s but now I'm reconsidering. I was interested to hear your comment about the 1911 platform being 2~3db quieter than an H&K and also about the sight picture with the compressor attached. I shot an H&K Tactical recently and the sights are very tall compared to the SIG P220 Combat or any 1911.

One possible tip is to spray the baffles with Hornady One Shot. I use it on the piston parts in my ARs and it seems to do a good job reducing fouling.
