[Slow]

Way back in Dec. 03 I asked for advice about reloading presses. I appreciated all the responses especially Mike Kerr. I bought a 4 Hole Lee Auto Turret press for reloading .45acp and .45 Colt and am very happy. Production rates over the ole hand press went up exponentially and quality of round remained consistent with the slower single stage. I shoot about the same as before but have less grief over reloading (reloading isn't my passion, but a necessity... OTOH shooting is a passion). I can recommend this set up for the cost conscious, time conscious and space conscious shooter/reloader. I am using Lee Deluxe dies, Hodgdon powders (mostly) and Hornady bullets (mostly) and Winchester brass and primers. I mounted my press on an old table in my basement that is used when we have big crowds over for dinner so I mounted first to a formerly useless piece of lumbar and C- clamped to the table for easy removal. It works great with only occasional tightening necessary. Well, I think that covers it.. Thanks again everybody, Brett

I've been using a Lee Turret, in conjunction with a Lee C press for years.
It works well, and I feed a lot of hanguns, carbines and two .45 caliber subguns with ammo from it.

I agree, I'm very happy with my Lee 4-Hole press. I took out the auto-indexing rod and use it single stage. Still works fairly quickly. I only reload 357 mag right now, but will get an extra shell plate when I add another caliber so all dies stay adjusted. Great press if you're just starting (like me), can't spend mega bucks, and don't mind priming with a hand primer.

I'm using the 3-hole turret press. Load 223, 30-06, 45ACP, 38Spl and 357mag. Not the "best" press made, but I like it.
