So I and a few others were thinking about arranging a Atlanta shootoff. Possibly on March 20th.
We were planning to go to the DNR range at Johns Mountain up I-75 North.
Directions are:
-Drive up I-75N to Exit 320, GA136.
-Turn left.
-Drive 7-8 miles to the dead-end and turn right.
-100 yards on the right is a gravel road and a sign for the shooting range.
-Follow the signs to the parking lot.
It costs around 5 bucks per car.
Anyone else interested?

I might be in, I'd love to go, but we are in the process of relocating to Tennessee and we'll be spending quite a few of the upcoming weekends up there househunting.
But I think my wife is traveling to VA for her sister's baby shower, so I might be available.

I just now remembered I won't be able to go on the 20th. How about the 21st? How does that sound?

No can do on the 20th. Wife is working that day, so I have to take care of my son.

The 20th? That's my 5 year anniversary. Think the wife will mind? Ha!
Any other Saturday and I most likely already there. I'll keep checking back to see when the next one is.

What time are you guys thinking? I cannot commit with two babies in the household but I've penciled it in.
What kinds of firearms can you shoot out there? I've been dying to take my 12 ga. 18" barrel Remy out for a shoot.

Anything that's not full auto and that you don't put over the backstop.
By the way, I probably can't be there any day but the 20th. Oh well, I'll try to see if I can work something out.

I usually get up there around 10 or 11, but I can head up later.
Sorry about the 20th. My schedule is usually completely flexible but the anniversary takes priority. My wife shoots almost as much as me, but she already nixed the anniversary range trip...:)

I am pretty much open for any weekend except for this coming weekend and the next.....
You guys make the decision on which day and it should be ok with me.

I have the 27th on my calendar. I will probably be up there regardless. Rain or shine, I will be itching to play with my AR because it's been 2 weeks since I have fired it. Might have a neighbor or 2 with me as well.

Bummer murrie!
As the weather continues to improve, I will be at this range most Saturday mornings. Will post another thread the next time around.
No worries.
