[Saddlebag Preacher]

I've discussed this gun before, but now I researched it and can't either find all the parts including an original stock, (this one has been cut off and "sporterized, but is now cracked.) and is way cost prohibitive, So I'm going to try to get an aftermarket stock like maybe a monte carlo. I would even agree to a synthetic. But I've been told a K98 stock won't work on the carbine 98a. Anyone know someine who makes them? I have no luck Googling it..

PS. I'm to the point I want to shoot this rifle, so I'm ready to do what I can to get it back on the firing line. It would make a good atv gun if I can find a stock.

here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/German-Mauser-stock-laminate-for-K98k-WW-II-/181051501933?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2782ad6d) is an ebay auction for a stock in good condition, mostly matching serials. everythign you'd need to put her back to military config assuming your sights haven't been removed and reciever drilled and tapped.
