Diana DeGette magazine ban

First, I hope this is the right place and that this hasn't been covered already (I did search).

Diana DeGette (Dem from CO) is going to be submitting a ban on magazines over 10 rounds into congress in the next few days. The ban will allow grandfathering, but no transfer, manufacture, or sale of magazines over the 10-round limit.

I personally think that it's political opportunism. The bill gets introduced every year, but that's no reason to lower our guard.
