I have a new .22-250 that needs a scope and I think I have decided on one of these two. Both are around $250, the Leupold is 4-12x40 and the Bushnell is 5-15x40. Is there any reason I should buy one over the other? I have asked this question here before but I haven't thought about it much in the last month or so and I was wondering if any of the changes at Leupold are relevant to my situation? Thanks in advance.

Based solely on past experiences, and my humble opinions, I would take the Leupold. It isn't that there is anything wrong with the Bushnell Elites, I have just had great success with Leupold scopes, I currently own 6 of them, they sit atop All of my rifles. I currently own Vx-II's and VariX-3's but I have shot friends rifles with the VX-I and it seems to be a great optic.
PS- I have a Leupold VX-II 4-12x40 on my Weatherby 22-250 and it is an excellent match for coyotes, foxes, and groundhogs

Based on everything important, pick the Leupold. Better customer service, better quality, better value.
