i just bought a UTL-2 , did i get screwed?

its for an H&K made by IT w/out the H&K logo on the right side ...they were on sale for $164.00 as compared to $253.00 retail... i'm wondering if somethings wrong with them to be so cheap ?...
did they come out with a newer model ? are these being dumped ?
the wholesaler says that they simply stopped putting the H&K logo on them and are marketing them under the IT name... i've heard rumors of a newer more powerful and more sturdy light coming on the market so i'm wondering if i'm getting one of the leftovers ? the HK boards are useless for info ... any help appreciated ...HD

I don't know, but if any of those things are happening, it may be in response to Surefire's new offerings. They've upped the bar a little bit for weaponlights.

The UTL's not marked HK have always been noticeably less than the HK models. They were the same light last time I checked.
