Lucky score today. It's a small win, but a win nonetheless.

So, I decided to start an AR build a couple of months ago. Got most of the parts ordered prior to Sandy Hook, and well, you know the rest. Now parts are scarce, and gouging rampant. Ah, the dark side of capitalism. At any rate, I needed a few mags for the new heater, and was getting frustrated that $14 Pmags are now $40-$50 bucks. Desperately seeking a solution, I passed the word around work that I was looking for some reasonably priced mags. A buddy told me his son-in-law just bought 30 rounders at a small local shop for $18.95, but he didn't know what kind they were, only that they were "plastic". "Could it be true?" I thought. He told me I should hurry, because as of a few days ago, the seller only had three left. So, I went there. Lo and behold, honest to goodness new 30 round Pmags for the low low price of $18.95. Better yet, all three were there. Needless to say, they are gone now and in my hot little hands. Consider my day made.

Yay! :)

Good to hear that there are still sane prices out there.
