The claim is More Guns = More Violence.

The response is that the facts for the U.S. don't support what the author claims. Firearms sales (specifically those proposed for banning) have increased over the past 5 years leading to growth in manufacturing of the firearms and accessories, more states have changed from "May Issue" to "Shall Issue" for carry permits, issuance of carry permits has increased all while the FBI Uniform Crime Report shows that violent crime (including murder and homicides with all firearms) has been dropping while firearms sales and use have been increasing. The article does point out that there's no clear relationship between firearms and crime rates, but the article overall misleads the the public by not presenting an honest analysis of the facts that anyone competent to comment can look up.
