I bought an FN Israeli Mauser chambered in .308 about four years ago, and I noticed it has a notch for loading from stripper clips. Would anyone be willing to point me in the direction of where I may be able to acquire some clips that would fit the notch and the .308 round?

Thanks,
Ted

The base of the .308 and .30-06 round are the same. Try some of these. They're cheap enough, so worth a try:

8mm and 7mm Mauser Stripper Clips will work too.

As per soloban, the ubiquitous 8x57 clips will work.

My FR-8 in 7.62x51 only works with the K98 stripper clips... the slot isn't wide enough to take NATO strippers. I wonder if the FN's are the same way, since they were purpose built 7.62 guns, rather than a conversion from 8mm like the FR-8s.
