Here's a problem

While trying to find some polls relating to the general public that werent tainted by MSM (hah good luck right?) i took a look at this poll (http://www.pollingreport.com/guns.htm)
Most of the consensus is that there should be more gun control.
The problem i think comes just before the gallop poll starts.

"Do you happen to have any guns, rifles or pistols in your home?"

Yes No Unsure/Refused
% % %

12/17-19/12
35 61 4

While not complete, because it doesnt show those who have shot guns before that are in the No category, But i suspect the majority in the no column have not.
Therefore is it reasonable to conclude that because of limited involvement, that they are therefore scared of what they do not know?
