Ok, supposedly this stuff is only sold to Law Enforcement, but that doesn't mean that it's not available to the public (This is how i have Ranger and Lawman ammo for my guns).

Anyone know where to get some?

not sure about vexor, but you can get huge 16 ounce cans of 20% diablo on ebay pretty cheap...and it is suppose to be pretty nasty...but i guess nothing compared to vexors 15 million scoville heat units.

I'd like to get some Vexor too! Any LEOs here can get a hold of some and we'll get a group buy on this stuff?

Yes, any LEO's wanna help out us poor lowly civillians, especially those of us deemed unworthy by the state to carry an effective tool of self defence (for another 2 years)?

I know someone who's a chemist who's willing to put some lab tests in to do a actual comparision on this on some lab animals...so yeah put me down for 6 cans of Vexor.

I'd be willing to get the results and publish them as a comparision between that, Fox and a few other brands.

don't jump the gun crypto, still haven't found anyone to buy the stuff for us.

Well I wanted to add in my intentions so maybe there might be a LEO out there who'd want to help compare lab results Fox vs. Vexor vs. Bodyguard.

Yes, and i'll do studies on chester-based crackheads and drunken frat boys who want to beat my a$$ for looking at them "like that".

everyone talks about how much Vexor rocks but I don't see a single link to a spot to purchase some.

They'll also sell to private security companies, so what about making up letterhead for "_______ Security, Inc." or something, and using that to order? Using a money order, you wouldn't have to worry about the lack of company checks or a corporate credit card. Do you think that would work?

hmm...High Road Security?

That's because they only sell it direct to LEO or security co's

someone here own their own business...a corporation or LLC? Just get a ficticious businses name added (doing business as....dba).....xxx, inc. dba. HighRoad Asset or Loss Prevention:)..or why not Highroad Police Equip.

Try to avoid using security, some states regulate security companies so they might ask for copy of license...as for credit card.......easy....go have your exsisting business creditcard name changed.

this is a whole lot more complicated than just having an LEO or security officer on the board buy us some. Hell, i don't need to do that much paperwork to buy a gun.

mr_dove

can anyone explain why they refuse to sell to us in the first place? It's not like pepper spray is nearly as regulated as firearms.

Like saying a particular ammo is "Law Enforcement Only"....makes the cops feel special, like they're above the average citizen.

Umm, why all the interest in Vexor?

They say we can't have it. So duh, we want it.

Honestly the only 'good' thing about this stuff is probably that its hard to get.

i wanna give the stuff a shot. 15mil SHU is near pure capsicum.

I t&e'd a can of it when it was first released. Can is small. Actuator is overly complex. Didn't get a chance to get exposed to it, since they only sent one 1oz unit and it went quickly. The spray pattern was interesting, but no great shakes. A whole lot of flashy advertising, but nothing that I'd choose to carry.

I think there are a few reasons that everyone is excited about Vexor.

1. Reviews from people who have actually used it are overwhelmingly positive.

2. the numbers represent it as being far more powerful than other pepper sprays.

3. Due to the stupid LEO rule none of us can test it for ourselves to see if it truly is better than the competition.

I think that a product with a good reputation that nobody can get always seems to raise the interest level.

Does anyone even know how much it costs, and what sorts of quantities the manufacturer is willing to sell in? Can we get that info without being someone they're willing to sell to?

Exactly, i have a 2oz bottle of fox and a bunch of macho idiots on my dorm who keep asking me to spray them:rolleyes:. If i got the vexor i could definately find subjects do a comparison on.

Paul, despite what you say about the actuator being complex, having a safety does appeal to me as i'd rather carry in my pocket as opposed to in a holster like i have to do with the fox.

As I recall, price per can was something ridiculous like $18 per 1oz unit, agency pricing. Copare that with $5 per 2oz burst unit for Aerko Punch II or $11 per 2ox Fox Labs. They are only offering a 1oz unit. That is not enough product for my liking [the smallest size I'm comfortable carrying is 2oz]. I've carried various OC products for the last 10 years loose in the outside cover garment pocket and never needed a safety and never had a problem with accidental release.

I would be interested in some Vexor, I think the reason they try to keep it to LEO or Security is to make the LEO feel special.

I have not seen a California agency issue Vexor yet, most common brand I've seen issue is MACE or PUNCH variations. Fox I've seen once.

Hmm, i didn't know that, but now i'm inclined to agree with you. I looked on their websight and they say it will disperse 6 shots....sorry, that's just not enought considering the homeboys around here attack in pairs or triads.

I guess i'll stick with my fox. It's close enough to "hell in a can" as it is.

Isn't the Fox 15 mil too?

Methinks there might be some marketing at work at Vexor.

Vexor sounds like a sci-fi villian anyway!:D

I still think I might be interested in some Vexor, even if it is only 1 ounce.

greyhound- Fox is only 5 million SHU.

Fox is only 5 million SHU.

Thanks, the dang label came off my can of Fox and I "misremembered".:D

Wow, that Vexor must be pretty hot. I retract my "marketing" remark.

I still say the name is funny!

Fox is 5.3 Million SHUs plus whatever propellant.
