I have a Brownells Glasbed kit, it's brown and I would like it to be black.
Will Testors model paint work for tinting this bedding material?
Edit: Maybe I should clarify, this is the little glass jar of Testors. Running a test mix now to see how it ends up.

No.
Very likely the oil & solvent in the paint would prevent the epoxy from hardening correctly.
The acraglas kits should come with both brown & black die pigment.
And Brownell's sells black die pigment for acraglas I think.

Thanks RC,
This is the Glasbed kit, not sure if it differs from the Acragel. No dies came with this kit.

Oh!
That only comes in one color or the other with no die packs.
I think the Acraglas die would be the way to go though.

Thanks again!
The model paint made the mixture come out to what seems to be a bit soft although I have never used this bedding compound before. I'll do another test mix without paint to check the difference anyway.
It may just be that I won't use this stuff or if I do I'll pick up some dry pigment and do another test mix.
As well I'll check for Devcon 10110 in town while I'm there today. It's my preferred bedding material, I just don't need much being this is for my Tikka's reciever and nothin more.
The milling of my scope mount is finished and I'm getting kind of excited
I had a 90 thousandths channel milled out of the center of my Talleys. My scope sat a little high for my taste. As well I have a 4140 steel bolt shroud in the process of being refinshed.
Looks more at home IMHO.
